What is BIBIM?

BIBIM is a free, open-source AI agent for Autodesk Revit and Graphisoft ArchiCAD, built by SquareZero Inc. You describe a task in plain language; BIBIM plans it, writes the code (C# in Revit, Python in ArchiCAD), validates it, and executes it inside your model. It officially supports Revit 2024–2026 (Windows) and ArchiCAD (Windows and macOS), and runs on your own API key with no subscription.

Does BIBIM actually execute code?

Yes. The Revit add-in compiles and executes generated C# inside Revit. The ArchiCAD add-on runs validated Python against the ArchiCAD API.

Is it really free and open source?

Yes. The open-source builds do not require a BIBIM subscription. You bring your own API key and cover only your own model usage costs.

Where does my data go?

Conversation history is stored locally on your machine. External calls go to the model providers you configure for generation and optional RAG.

Which versions are officially supported?

Official support covers Revit 2024-2026 and ArchiCAD. Revit 2027 currently installs and may run, but should be treated as experimental until official 2027 API docs are available.

How is this different from Revit 2027's built-in AI?

BIBIM is built to write, validate, and execute code inside Revit and ArchiCAD. It is designed as an execution agent, not only as a suggestion layer.
